Request for additional evidence (RFE) on my national interest waiver application

Hey everyone,

I submitted a NIW application and filed form I-140. I just got a status change that USCIS is requesting for additional evidence and waiting to receive the letter to see what else they need.

I took a lot of time on this and thought I submitted everything. I did not use a lawyer.

Is there anyone here who has had to go through this RFE process on their I-140 for NIW?

I'll appreciate insights into this.

I don't see any of these type of case around.

Thanks guys.

Hi I am on similar shoes to you, but I hired an attorney being an attorney myself.

I got an RFE on May 19, and I am preparing the response now.

What is your profession and endeavor? Is your RFE generic or very specific?

For example, mine is pretty generic and ignores evidence from the Federal Government stating that my field of endeavor is in the national interest of the US.

So, now, I will narrow everything down but not discarding the previous endeavor.

A more specific endeavor as a supplement to the previous one, with more specific evidence, while also supporting evidence of the filed endeavor that they already got.

Best of luck and happy to share thoughts and insight.
