Green Card Expiration

Green card expires in a few days is there any penalty, removal of conditions was send out in mid june due to some problems we were having is there anything I should do or can do?

As long as you sent in the I-751 before the card expires you should be fine. Do you have NOA1 for the I-751?

IF YOU COULDN;T SUBMIT THE FORM 3 MONTHS BEFORE EXPIRATION, WITH THE FORM YOU SHOULD SUBMIT A LETTER EXPLAINING THE REASON WHY THAT HAPPENS. THAT'S THE WAY IT IS BEING STATED IN THE FORM INSTRUCTIONS. GOOD LUCK.

You don't have to file exactly 90 days before expiration, you cannot file more than 90 days before. You can file anytime between 90 days before and the expiration of the card, no explanation required.

Some explaining would be needed if you filed AFTER the card expired.

Thank u and to explain a bit clearer I did file before the expiration date but its just that they haven't send me anything yet

I sent my husband's lifting 3 weeks before the green card expired.

When exactly you sent yours? Have you recieved any thing at all? Also what service center did you sent it?
