Hello everyone,

All my documents has been accepted Jun 17 (RFE April 7) but i did NOT get any DQ message or email, but i did receieve three messages.

First  "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p."

Second " Please submit Name" Evidence of Income. For more information, visit https://nvc.state.gov/fin."

Third "Please submit proof of Name: assets that were entered on their Affidavit of Support Form. For more information, visit https://nvc.state.gov/fin"

What i don't understand is that we already submitted them and they;re approved? we have enough assest to meet the requirments.

I don't know what to do at this point, are we back in the line or am i expecting DQ email?

Unfornately i won't be able to call NVC because they suspended their phone line.

So sorry to read this! These arbitrary and nonsensical hold ups are exactly what makes the NVC process so fraught! I hope an expert can chime in, but I’d expect you’re back in line for the next review moment.

income did not meet the poverty guidelines

and seems u submitted assets to suppliment the requirement

However,  u need to list those assets (like bank savings, or others)  and show proof

bank statements

investment savings

if using property ,  it can not be primary residence and a recent appraisal is needed with document to show any mortgage or lien on the property

follow the instructions under assets

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864instr.pdf

Or provide I864a for a joint sponsor with all needed supporting documents

its required for all petitions to show income to support the petition

Your case is not documentarily qualified (DQ) until you get an email from NVC stating such.  "Accepted" only means the documents were uploaded properly so that they can then review them.  Respond to the RFE, following their suggestions exactly.  This may be additional proof of assets, current income for primary sponsor, and a new joint sponsor with supporting I-864 and documentation.  Do not delay responding to the RFE if you received it April 7.  Good luck!

This happened to someone else I know... and the phone lines were still open at the time. The person on the phone said they would have to re-submit and they would be going to the back of the line.

I'm thinking some agents might want updated financial evidence if the I-864 is re-uploaded with ink signature. . . I don't think it is consistently applied.

You will have to re-upload the Evidence of Income and proof of assets again. And I would upload most recent bank statements.

accepted is not approved

DQ'd means approved as Carmel34 pointed out

bank statements as assets should be savings

as checking accounts go up and down daily with our spending

NVC has determined the needed income was not met / they are saying to avoid a request for a joint sponsor from the CO at interview,  u can submit joint sponsor now to NVC

NVC is trying to tell u "do the joint sponsor now"  as they believe if this case goes to the interview,  the CO will tell u to get one
