"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Calm down, relax and take deep breaths. Have you considered meditation to help with your anxiety?

Just tried that for a half hour before I came back online. I took an adavan about ten minutes ago and it's starting to kick in. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that though.

Starting to be able to breath again.

Aww sweety: Deep breath! It'll be ok.

Will it make you feel better to know that I've had one or two of these myself? Same exact thoughts, but add to it: how will I pay off my cc debt before we get married, what if we go through all of this and he comes to America and decides he doesn't love me, etc.

I think you are totally normal to have these moments. Just remember that things always look worse at night (for some reason...at least for me!) and that our fears are always worse than reality.

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. :)

Calm down, relax and take deep breaths. Have you considered meditation to help with your anxiety?

Good idea. What also works for me is just listening to calming music.

Thanks yes that DOES all help!!!!!!

Sucks when your family isn't at all supportive through these extremely stressful times too! I'm envious of all those with parents/siblings that can talk with you about visa issues.

Anyway it's over now, I can breath and I'd best be getting to bed since it's 1:22 am here in Boston.

Thanks guys, you're the best!
