Hi everyone,

My husband accepted a job transfer state side for work (same company).  We got his sister to joint sponsor me just incase because of domicile and in case we ran into any issues that all his income the last few years were Canadian. He just got his first US paycheck. Should I upload it onto NVC? Or leave it as is for the interview.

We submitted his 2018, 2019 and 2020 taxes and Canadian equivalent of W2, and included a letter explaining that 2021 hasnt been filed yet due to extension of June 15 as he was out of the country and that we will provide it as soon as we have it.

We submitted his sisters 2019, 2020, 2021 Tax statements and W2s, and one of her latest paystubs for her documents.

Should we still send in his first US paystub? Or should it be OK as is considering we haven't a joint sponsor.  Im just hesitant since we submitted our documents second week of April, and they're starting to process those at the beginning of April now.

As for the US paystub, I'd recommend uploading it to NVC. It's always better to be proactive and provide as much information as possible, especially since you're using a joint sponsor.

Thank you, I’m already down living in the states now :)
