What is the right way to Side-Load during NVC stage?

I'm collating the supporting evidence for NVC at the moment. We have few events that's happened from USCIS stage to now and we'll love to include them at this stage (NVC).

Just like i labelled our proof of evidence in the packet sent to USCIS, i don't know if that is allowed by NVC. I plan to put the soft copy of our recent trip pictures into MS word, so i can inscribe the names of people in the photos, where and the day the pictures were taken, then export this into a single pdf file and upload it as additional documents. Is this allowed?

I will like to know how to properly do this additional documents which include recent boarding passes, Visa stamps, Hotel receipts, insurance certificates etc.

Thanks for you help as always.

Yes, it is allowed. That is how I did it. I created a Microsoft word file and organized everything I wanted to submit (passport stamps, boarding passes, pictures, etc), using titles, subtitles, dates, names, etc., and then I converted it to a pdf which I uploaded on the supporting documents tab.

None of these is required at the NVC stage. This is required at the USCIS and Consulate phase. Save yourself the time and effort. Just submit the financial and civil documents that are required.

Side-loading additional evidence of a bona fide marriage relationship is a good idea if a high-fraud country is involved or there are any red flags such as only a little time spent together in person prior to filing the I-130.  We did this at the NVC stage, and uploaded a single file with evidence of more trips together, more financial co-mingling documents, etc., as an additional document via CEAC, because often the officer will not look at additional evidence brought to the visa interview.  Good luck!

Not required at NVC stage.  But the OP's profile indicates that the beneficiary is from Nigeria.  As mentioned above, for applicants from high visa fraud countries, "everything but the kitchen sink" approach is a good idea.  For Canadian applicants, it's probably overkill.

You can if you want. Like they said they had some updated events since they filed. That's what sideloading is for.

Please don;t tell that to someone going through Lagos. e are not like every other embassy and every embassy is not created equally.
Whatever you want in the CO's hands at interview needs to be uploaded. Period. Bringing binders full of stuff at interview in most cases is a waste uploading so it goes there before you is vital to success.

Thank you for saying this. Some people don't get it and bring so much things to interview that is like 15 minutes and they really think a CO is going to read through a million ages of things. But uploading at USCIS and Side-loading it goes before you weeks in advance.. This is how the CO prepares for the interview Why wouldn't someone load up with valid crucial evidence. I don;t get people telling folks its a waste when it's not. At least for West Africa I surely can attest to all those embassies it;s a fat side-load.
