Hopefully you kept a copy that you can fine comb now to identify mistakes and fix them.
I bet you money you got the household size wrong. Most people that get a RFE Is because of that. Either that, or you did not present the right tax documents.

Yes, you can submit a joint sponsor.

yeah, unfortunately I do not have a copy.

I will just redo it and triple check it. Either I put in my overall yearly income wrong or our MFJ taxes we not accepted?

We applied for ITIN number for my partner since they didnt get ssn on time and were no longer eligible. We are still in the process but we filled our taxes with a tax person and we did it jointly (Without ITIN or SSN)

We sent a copy of our taxes and our W7 form (ITIN form)

Rule number 1: always keep a copy of anything you sent to USCIS. They’re known for losing stuff. Or even sending RFEs when they shouldn’t.

Yes, you can submit a joint sponsor.

I put 1 for total of people sponsoring,

I entered 1 for married with spouse, 1 for myself

Then when it asks to put total of household size I put 2 since its just me and my partner.

Unfortunately I did not keep a copy.

I sent my 2019 & 2020 transcripts from IRS website and a copy of my 2021 taxes which were filed without a SSN or ITIN. We are in the process of getting an ITIN we already went through the IRS people. Filled out a W7 form and went to the office to apply for an ITIN.

Please be careful to reply to RFE. If you make a mistake again, ur case might get denied and you have to file from scratch + waste money.

problem is u don’t keep the copy, hence you didn’t know what you did wrong.

just be aware and back track everything. Good luck

Read the instructions on page 8 about using your spouse’s income:

If you included the income of the intending immigrant who is your spouse (he or she would be counted in Part
5., Item Number 1.), you must provide evidence that his/her income will continue from the current source after obtaining lawful permanent resident status.
He or she does not need to complete Form I-864A unless he or she has accompanying children.

Did you include this?

Usually USCIS messes up when you include the immigrant’s income. I would find a joint sponsor.

We put her as a stay at home person, no income was reported

Oh my bad, for some reason I thought you were using her income.

File a new one, make sure you complete all sections, sign it. And send IRS transcripts instead of the returns. They’re so much easier to understand.

Unfortunately there are no transcripts of the 2021 joint taxes because she is waiting for her ITIN # so they can officially file them. We did the taxes with the tax person, they gave us the papers then we got an appointment to the IRS office to turn in a W7 form for ITIN number. They verified the documents there and they sent it out to the department that process that for the ITIN.

What I am saying is that it is not on the IRS website because of that.

So I have to send the tax papers (1040)

As soon as an ITIN is created for her they will be filed officially.

They didn’t say this was the issue, they said it was the form so I will make sure to check it 5 times.
