First DUI as a Permanent Resident

Hi,

First time poster, long time lurker!

I was approved for a Green card via AOS marriage with USC back in February this year, a couple of days ago I unfortunately got pulled over and arrested for a brief period after failing a field sobriety test and then the breathalyzer at 0.09 (legal limit being 0.08) I'm in Louisiana where this is a misdemeanor 1st time offence, obviously nobody should drink and drive and I hold my hands up no matter how "minimal" somebody would claim.

There was no other people in the car, I was speeding faster than the 25mph limit mind you and nobody was hurt, just quite literally pulling into Walgreens

How badly will this affect my Permanent Residency status? I was due to fly to England in November but I've read a few things about that record being seen by US Customs and refusing entry to a Green Card holder, is this true?

Not true.  You will be admitted unless your LPR status has been removed. Based on what you wrote, it is improbable your LPR status will be removed and regardless you will know it if that happens (you would be summoned to appear in immigration court, which again I think is improbable).

See https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-932?language=en_US

Lawful Permanent Resident's (LPR) convicted of certain crimes cannot be denied re-entry into the United States, although they will be referred to an Immigration Hearing to determine deportability.”
