When I send my I-129F packet can I just make a copy of the cards that was sent to me by my fiance? Or I have to send the original bday, annivesary and etc cards?

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

you don't have to show an ongoing relationship yet. but, i sent some w/ ours. just copies of the envelops to show post mark dates. save your originals incase the embassy asks for them.

What if i don't have any of the post mark dates?

is this your original petition we're talking about? not things you're sending your SO for the interview?

if you don't have the envelopes then don't send them....you probably need to start sending a letter or card now & then & keep the envelopes. so when you do need to show evidence of an ongoing relationship you'll have more items w/ dates on them....but for now you don't need them.

Hi Pinaylang,

I made copies of all the cards and letters as well as the envelopes for our I-129f petition. Here's another tip, make another set of copies of the whole I-129f petition for you and your SO. That way, you'll both know what was sent with the petition instead of trying to remember or guess. Take care and good luck!
