NVC Case Number

Hello,

 

I am wondering how NVC contacts you with your case number when it is created. 

I want to make sure, so I can start checking my case status on the CEAC website.

 

Note: Starting last month, NVC can no longer be contacted via phone, only through a public inquiry form!

No, they won’t email you with you case number. They will only email when your case is sent from NVC to the consulate. If you want to know the case number, you need to contact them through the public inquiry form.

 

As of 6-JUN-22, we are responding to inquiries received on 15-APR-22. We will update this information every week. We ask that you make a subsequent inquiry only if you do not receive a response to your email within our published timeframe above. Duplicate inquiries slow our ability to respond to you in a timely manner.

 

Current case creation time frame: As of 6-JUN-22, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 17-MAY-22.
