Hello Visa Journey Community!

Hoping to receive advice / feedback on our situation.

My mother-in-law had her Green Card interview this past Tuesday (7 JUNE 2022) in the states. My wife, a naturalized US citizen, accompanied my mother-in-law to her interview. The USCIS agent stated that she will approve my mother-in-law's Green Card application, however, she could not find my mother-in-law's medical records. After having my wife and mother-in-law wait in the lobby, the USCIS agent was able to locate my mother-in-laws medical record. The agent mentioned the records sometimes get lost due to a new process they've recently adopted. The USCIS agent again mentioned she will approve my mother-in-laws application, however, she would need to review the medical records. Since the interview, my mother-in-laws USCIS tracking page has had no updates; it still states "Interview has been scheduled". Having gone through the Green Card process once before, my understanding is that once your case is approved the webpage should be updated to reflect something along the lines of "Green Card is on it's way".

Curious if anyone has had any experience with something similar? Should we standby, or try reaching out to someone now?  I understand it's barely been 2 days, but the last thing I want is for my mother-in-law's case to go into limbo

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
