Our NOA2 processing date was pretty steady as to the end August ‘23. Was depressed to get the weekly update email today that pushed it 4 days into September ‘23. First time it has jumped more than 1 or 2 days in quite a while.

Bummer.

Always a little sad to see the est. dates push further out. What helps me and our relationship are the choices we’ve made. I’m here in the Philippines now living our life together just waiting to get approved. Btw, for any foreigner from a visa free country staying in the Philippines, I highly recommend extending your visa in BGC at SM Aurora Premier. They have such a beautiful air conditioned immigration office on the 8th floor of the Tower building. If you’re fortunate to stay here awaiting that approval date, definitely give it a shot.

To everyone else, hang in there and remember, stay focused on WHY you started the process. Video chat daily and laugh together often. Keep your relationship alive and you’ll make it through to the end.

Best of luck to everyone!!!

P.S. eat native dishes 🥰🙏

I am also currently in the Philippines, spending 2 months with my fiancé. I am unable to move here to await approval, but I try to come every 6-8 months for 2 months. I am hopeful that next time I come, it will be to accompany her to Manila for her interview. But, we will see, as the estimates keep slipping further and further.

Just spent 2 months with my fiancée, headed back home this evening.

Next time I visit, I hope it will be to accompany her to her interview in Manila. I am holding on to my optimism that will happen before the end of the year. Yeah, yeah, I know. But a man can dream.

Time for me to bone up on the next steps after NOA2. Getting exciting!

After our NOA2 (15 months between NOA1 and NOA2) it took a little over 3 months to hear from NVC when they said they sent our stuff to the embassy in Manila on 1/31/23. Scheduled our medical appointment at St Luke's and looking for a interview appointment as soon as we can. We had one for March 9th but that was before the medical so we have to reschedule. If all goes well we are looking at 2 months between leaving NVC and getting the interview

Things seem to be moving a little quicker

If the current processing rate holds, we're looking at July for NOA2 for June Filers.

Hope this helps

Thanks for this update. Just hanging out with my fiancé patiently awaiting our NOA2. I find myself fighting the urge to check in too often, so in general I just burry myself in work. My fiancé asks "who about our process babe?", almost everyday, so the urge to check can get a little daunting. So nice to jump in here to see some positive news. 🍻and thanks for sharing this timeline.

Always good to be positive!

I have some more good news

Processing rate is higher and is increasing daily.

If the rate of processing stays the same, we can be looking at early July as the earliest date , to mid August as the latest.

This factors in the current rate of processing, and the USCIS reported times which is 15.5 months which is definitely lower at this point, so these dates are conservative.

There's a little bit of hopeful thinking too but what the heck why not! :D

My NOA1 is mid June for reference

Good news indeed. Our NOA2 estimate here on the site was recently at mid Sep. it has now moved back into Aug.

I’ll take the good news. It is a nice change from the doom and gloom of the last 9 months.

The estimate is based on single points so I wouldn't take it for granted they change wildly. The estimates I'm calculating are based on an overall trend so they should be way more accurate, hopefully. Fingers crossed
