Okay. Just mailed my RFIE reply in. Had to send in certified letters from police and magistrate that they have no records concerning my traffic violation in 1998 or my accidental bounced check in 1993 because they dont hold records that long. Hopefully I dont get any more RFEs now.

If we got approved (my bf was in jail custody 6 months in 2009 but the case was dismissed and also he got a DUI a few years later) having criminal records you will also get approved☺️🫂❤️

A matter of days now!!

Oh no! I sent in the original paperwork with the court seals that say there are no records and my detailed statements but didn't see that I had to have my statements notarized before I sent them in. UGH! They're probably going to RFE me again! FML

When did you send them? And how did you send them? You may be able to intercept the package via USPS or Fedex, or just send another package if it's too late to intercept!

I'm assuming you are required to get your statements notarized! I'm not familiar with such a requirement myself.

I mailed my RFIE reply back on Thursday through regular mail along with my original papers from the court with the seal on them. I hope they will send them back if I have to redo it because I had to drive to another state and plead for them to give me those papers last week. The papers from the court said there are no records that old because it was for a traffic violation in 1998 and a bounced check in 1993. Maybe since they were such small matters, they will let it go, I hope.

I'm no expert in this matter TBH but I have a very strong feeling you'll be fine and just get your approval in a couple of weeks!
