No Interviews for Canadian VJ'ers?

I was hoping to see at least one or two happy posts from people who found out today they had an interview scheduled, but there is not a single one here lol. (I know alot of you are waiting for K1/k3's so your interviews get scheduled at any given time during the month, but there must be a CR1 who has some good news out there!)

My call to NVC today was very pointless. I was left on hold for about 10 min..racking up long distance on my phone card...then had a rude man named Ricardo or something like that tell me bluntly "No interview for you. We will call you whenever you do get one."

Not that I was expecting one this early on, but I figured I might as well get used to the whole calling, getting frustrated, ranting on VJ...waiting for next month to call again scenario ASAP just to test my sanity a little bit more.

Somebody post something good. I want to hear news like Montreal has surpassed Vancouver now and interview wait times are down to 2 weeks.

I asked whether they had received packet 3

she said you'll get a letter in the mail in 4-6 months with an interview date

I haven't seen any news about an interview being scheduled with Montreal since the load of interviews in June (and one in July) that were scheduled in May! (Except for Lance who was told by Montreal that he should be hearing from them within the next two weeks)

Haha.. that reminds me of the email I sent in May asking when they received my checklist and forms and when I was put into the system... Reply was "yes its all pending here and waiting for your interview"

I tried all friggin day to get through to an operator to no avail. I got busy signals, then when I got through, I got the message where the machine tells you to call later and hangs up on you.

ALL DAY. I must have called 50 times.

I'm setting the alarm for 7:30am tomorrow morning.

FYI, I'm going for a CR-1 and my case was complete on April 16.

I called the NVC this afternoon and was told that they hadn't yet finished scheduling the interviews for August. I asked the guy if he had any idea when it would be completed, and he sarcastically replied, "last week."

Lol sounds like you spoke with the same grumpy guy I did. In a way I can't blame them for being so snarky, since I'm sure they deal with thousands of us calling frantically around the 15th of every month nagging them for interviews, but at the same time, it still makes me want to strangle them when they get all grumpy about it hehe.

Unless things have changed...I called NVC late at night and got through without any problem. Was like at 11:00 pm or something like that. Give that a try!

anybody else developing a strong hatred for the woman on the NVC recording? she is so calm and fake soothing. I still haven't gotten through. I was going to call last night but forgot till just after 9 here which meant that they had just closed. and no luck this morning
