my guy interviewed with lady from H*LL  She was terrible!! He answered all her questions, but she kept asking him about what schools I attended when I was a child. We had never been asked about that before, and I filled the forms out myself and e-mailed them to him so he would have all my info. I know the papers asked about high school and college, which I filled out and he also told her about, but she would not listen. Then she would not believe that I have no children, because early in our relationship I had temporary custody of my best friends 2 kids. I only had them for about six months, but they are a huge part of my life and I often feel as if they are mine too. When he tried to explain about the temp. custody, she told him she did not care and did not believe him. What is that? She is crazy. She kept him there for nearly 2 hours! everybody else around him were being granted their visas and he was still dealing with the physco!! So now I am at a loss, I have never done any of this before and I have no idea what the next step is. The embassy tells me I have to wait until they send everything back here. My guy tells me he has been talking to others there that have dealt with her too and some have given up, others managed to eventually get their visas. He says that what we need to do is send an e-mail and cancel this app. and then apply for a new one with all this new info and the letter he was provided and that it would be approved within 4 months. Has anyone else experienced this? What is the right road to travel here? :help: I am very confused and a bit distraught over the whole thing.

Any and all advice, comments would be helpful and welcome.

Thanks,

Becke

Hi Becke,

I'm really sorry this happened to you. Try to remain calm and hopefully things will work out.

I am not exactly sure of your situation, but I would recommend reading the thread that is pinned at the top of this forum called 'Returning Petitions to the US via 221g" There are other people in your situation and they have successfully got their visas.

Sorry that is all the help I can offer. I wish you best of luck.

I think u had the same one Ahmed got...what did the form he rec'd back say?? you cant just cancel, it will prob be returned to be reviewed. If you want to discuss more let me know there are many of us going thru this same thing and many that are into it further that can help to understand the process. If it says to be returned now is the time for the senators or congress person to step in also you, family, friends etc can send emails.....the purpose being you want them to keep the application there and not return.

Becke,

I'm sorry to hear of your ordeal. Hang in there and know that there are others here who've been through this, and who care and can offer you support. You and your husband have come far, so think of this as just a small pebble in the pathway. You can walk around it. My advice would be to write a letter to one of your state senators (tell them that the matter is urgent) explaining the situation, and requesting that you and your husband be given an opportunity to properly address the CO's concerns and refute their claims as erroneous, by providing more documentation to support your petition and requesting a second interview prior to the petition being returned. I really feel for you. :( My fiance also has an interview in Casablanca coming up soon on July 31, and I am planning to be there. I am already anxious, and after reading about your experienece, now I really have the willies!

Becke..............

To put this bluntly --- CONTACT YOUR CONGRESSMAN TOMORROW -- FILL OUT THE RELEASE FORMS AND GET THEM TO HIS OFFICE!!! THEY NEED TO DO AN INQUIRY FOR YOU AND TRY TO STOP CASA FROM RETURNING YOUR PETITION!!!

If your petition is returned you are looking at a very long drawn out process (I am sure others can agree that this is NOT what you want to do)

If you have not done so already - I would have your husband scan over the paper that he was given so you can read what it says .... did Casa ask for anything additional at all??

Did they give your husband the exact reason for the denial?

Good Luck with this and I pray you can get some assistance from your congressman!

Becke........I'm very sorry to hear of this. Malarie is right, you need to get your congressman and senators involved quickly. It will take time but this can be overturned. Get in contact with Kiya or Chiquita. I know Chiquita she has a lot of knowledge about this and is always willing to help. Good luck to you.

I'm so sorry to read of your fiance's interview. Please read the pinned thread and contact those ladies that have much knowledge in this. From what I have read and learned you must stop the Consulate NOW from returning your petition. If you wait and allow them to return it, the time involved in having this turned around will be long. Get in touch with everyone NOW do not wait. Good Luck!
