Hi all.

USCIS got my application, confirmed via text, cashed in my cheque, and updated my status online to receive application . I have also received my 24 month extension letter. Now I check everyday and status is the same- just crickets don’t hear anything, no changes etc.. someone here who was a June filet said their status changed to biometrics received. Wondering if any June filers here have any recent updates or notifications? When approx would I receive further updates about biometrics?

Hi, May filer but I got my status changed to biometric received exactly 1 month after my NOA1.. A week later, I received the letter that they reused my biometric :)

Ours was recieved on June 21 and the NOA1 was June 23 . Crickets ever since too. Hopefully we will have something soon . But at-least my wife feels better with her drivers license renewed for 2 more years today. That is out of the way.

Man, I was gonna do some interesting scrapping hand-picked style but I'm coming across several biometrics that are scheduled, but only 1 is marked as waived on this page. A few profile mention biometrics is waived in comment. hmmm. I was trying to guess my chance if biometrics will be waived or not. But since majority of profiles on here didn't say waived, I'm going to say 75% not waived. What do yall think? It's 3am for me. Holy owl lol!

Sounds like I’m in the exact same boat. I received the extension letter and that’s it. Any idea how long these waits are? I hear different things from different forums. Online it says could take up to 10 months at the Cali Service Center.

Have you hear anything yet?

I am at Vermont my receipt starts with EAC. I was not expecting anything so soon because usually people wait for at least a month if not more before they hear anything on the fingerprints.

What centre are you and when did you receive your NOA1?

Kinda Sucks waiting but looking though the Texas center processing times I didn't see much to make me feel better.  The last person to be approved from there was May 10, 2022 and another from May 1, 2022. And the letter I we received  from VJ with our estamated time . the first one from last week was May 30, 2024 and todays was  April 3 , 2024. Going to be along wait.

Don't  take those VJ estimates to heart. I find they are way off!

Yea I know . Even on the USCIS sight it showed 11 months . But that is better than almost 2 years . Just getting ready for a long wait either way.  A lot of couples in front of us too.  That is if they are updating their timeline.

Hey all!

kinda stressed been over a month since they received my package and I received confirmation. No word yet on my biometric! Should I call the USCIS contact center and ask? I just want to know they are working on the case and haven’t lost it or something. It’s such a long gruelling process moreover now since their so backlogged. I’m at the Cali center. Anybody have any insights on the process here?
