Are people sending their tear-off portion from the conditional green card? Lets not forget to send that for faster processing.

What is the tear -off portion?

Its a slip that came with the conditional green card and looks like this:

image.png.8e1b47217d83998ea8eb1149bf09a2d8.png

It says "Use the tear off portion to speed your application for an extension or replacement of green card". Not sure if it really helps with processing times.

That is just for your records or use it if you lose or your GC is destroyed. No need to send with your I-751. It's  used mostly with the I-90.

It should not cause any problems, but no need to send that in with your ROC.

Earlier from this thread I posted:
-On June 16, sent package and delivery for 3 days. (pg2)
-Hubby got text msg on June 24th, with status update from website acknowledge the delivery on June 21st. Sent to SRC center (Texas). (pg3)

Update____________________________________(pg5)
NOA arrived in the mail on June 30th, 2022.

NOA said it received date 6/21/2022, notice date 6/23/2022.
Payment accepted on June 21st as well.

The mail said "Your conditional permanent resident status is extended for 24 months from the expiration date on your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card. (AKA GC)".
Mentions they'll mail out anything else as needed, including biometrics. Now I guess I'll be waiting out for about a year.

Hi everyone! I don't see a July thread yet so just posting here. I am completely overwhelmed with ROC. We have a newborn and I don't have time to browse forums like I used to feel prepared with everything, ugh!

We are filling out the credit card form G-1450. What is the fee exactly? $595? Or adding in biometrics fee? Let me know how to proceed. I should've submitted this a month ago...so feeling kinda behind over here... 😕
