interview done, but...

hi , i had my interview today (k1), i answerd all the questions : my fiancee name, what she does for living, why her prvious marriage didnt work, the name of her ex,names of kids,when we met , how we met, when we talked about marriage,how many times she came,how long she has been in the city she lives in now.the officer told me that they will send the case back to usa for some rotein things and that they will call me in a week.also as the 2 passport photos i took with the forms,,they told me that they r small, means my face in them is small and the system didnt accept those photos,so they told me to bring other ones (i will take them tomorrow at 1:30pm .she gave me a paper with my passport : They put a mark '' X '' in the box that says :

'' Section 221(g) which prohibts the issuance of a visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provision of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto.The following remarks apply in your case. Please bring new photos.Also your case requires additional administrative processing,we will contact you as soon as we can continue with your case. ''

If they didnt deny me ,so why they gave me the passport back ? .i hope to find an answer and good luck to u all.

2008-3-03 : AOS sent

2008-3-12 : Check cashed

2008-3-14 : Received Receipt Notices of AOS ,EAD and AP

2008-3-17 : Biometrics Appointment notice date

2008-4-03 : Biometrics Appointment ,,,DONE,,,

2008-5-09 : EAD card ordered and AP approval notice

2008-5-13 : AP approval notice sent

2008-5-16 : AP received

2008-5-19 : EAD Approval notice sent

2008-5-21 : EAD received

2008-6-27 : interview appointment letter (for August)

2008-8---- : interview was fine, but was given a RFE, reason: chicken pox shot( although i got the shot when i was little)

2008-10-- : green card

2010-7-13 : I-751 sent

2010-7-16 : I-751 received

2010-7-20 : I-751 sent back to me. Cause: signatures and filing early.

2010-7-26 : I-751 re-sent

2010-8-09 : First NOA received ( dated 8/2 )

2010-8-12 : Biometrics appointment letter received ( dated 8/6 )

2010-8-19 : Early biometrics

2010-9-08 : Card production ordered

2010-9-15 : Green Card received, with incorrect first name (one letter missing)

I-90

2010-9-16 : Sent I-90 with Green Card

2010-9-17 : I-90 delivered

2010-9-24 : Receipt received. Notice date: 9-22

2011-2-08 : Card production ordered

2011-2-10 : Card received with NO errors.

N400 :

11-22-2011 :Sent

02-21-2012 :Interview ( a long delay afterwards)

If they didnt deny me ,so why they gave me the passport back ? .i hope to find an answer and good luck to u all.

It's normal for Casa to give the passport back while you are waiting on administrative processing. My husband got the same 221(g) -- except for the passport pics -- and he was approved after the name checks. And what do they need the passport pics for? The visa :) It sounds like you're on track. Just take in the pics and try to relax until they call you.

Thank u alot for ur reply, they passport they asked with the other forms (the two passport photos) which u glu one on the DS-156 ,that what i meant, and why they aksed about them as the two photos i took with me r not the wanted ones, the face has to be bigger in the photo, photos which i took were in the correct size but the face is small.

Dolphin it sounds like you are good just take the pictures and wait for them to check your background - that is what that paper means. When they finish checking ur background they will call you to bring in your visa. Be patient and congratulations!

Congratulations. It sounds like everything went well. Just give them the pictures they want and hopefully your wait time for the administrative processing is very short.
