Hello forum,

I been lurking in this forum for some time keeping up to date on how processing works and trying to get the best info available through others hardships and processes.

I have a question because it has stumped me and I cant understand the next step.

Provided all paperwork to the NVC on April 22nd, fees were paid and approved. DS 260 was sent, as well as Financial and Civil paperwork.

We requested a expedite from the both the NVC and the US Consulate in Athens, Greece.

The US Consulate has approved the expedite (due to medial grounds, my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and is alone in Greece till she joins me in the US.). When the US Consulate approves the expedite what is the usual next step?

Thank you for any info anybody provides and I hope whoever is going through this gets back to their families as soon as possible.

Is your case already DQ at NVC?  Was the expedite approval from the consulate unconditional?  Or was it contingent on your case being DQ?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay, so busy with work couldnt find time to check the reply.

NVC needs to DQ first from the looks of it.

But the emails are pretty going in circles. Embassy has agreed to expedite and waiting for the NVC, NVC has said they have forwarded to the Embassy...going around in circles from the looks of it.

And this whole time, my wife is alone in Greece with Multiple Sclerosis and im supporting two houses and bills in two countries on my one wage in the states which is fine but if she relapses during this time I will sue 🙂

Ill push end of week again, im trying to be patient with this also at the same time.
