AOS status (conditional green card)with EAD and AP

I have conditional green card,EAD and AP.

What should I say when the interviewer asks me what is my status living in the U.S.? Should I say I have green card (even though mine is conditional green card for now) or should I say I have EAD that allows me to work?

I feel somehow this affect the interviewers' decisions when it comes to hire someone who is not USC.

I have AP and can I travel to overseas whenever as long as I have my paperwork with me?

Do I still need to bring AP with me while traveling even though I have received my conditional green card?

Thank you.

If you have a Greencard you do not need an EAD or AP..... the Greencard (conditional or otherwise) is good for work and international travel.... and you would tell any future employer that you are a Greencard holder/Permenent Resident...

If you have a Green-Card Conditional or not, you are a Lawful Permanent Resident or (LPR) and that is your status.

The Green-Card allows work, and as soon as you have green-card, the EAD is VOID. Also the green-card allows travel, and again any AP that you may have had for while you were AOS Pending, is also VOID. All you need to do is present the green-card to reenter the USA after a trip out of country.

You only need a Re-entry permit (I-131) if your trip out of country is longer than 1 year, but less than 2.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
