AOS in wrong section

Hi guys, I just wanted your opinion on something as I can't find many answers online.

We added a joint sponsor to our case however, we think that only a small portion of their affidavit was sent.  However, the full affidavit was sent along with the tax income file and now we're not sure what to do. Should we resend the full affidavit onto the additional documents and add a note explaining why we've added it there? Our last submission date was 22nd March and we think they may get to our case within the next 2 weeks.

when you said " we think that only a small portion of their affidavit was sent" what does it mean?

are u talking about after you sent the application by mail, and then when you checked online after USCIS upload it ?

what you said its not clear

I believe that the lawyer either uploaded one page of the AOS or possibly even a page of the IRS 😬 on the Form I-864 section (terrible mistake on his end). But he included it with my sponsor’s tax income (so not in the right section if that makes sense?) We didn’t send the application by mail. All our civil documents have been accepted online but we added another sponsor. So to try and fix this mistake we put the full I-864 under additional documents and are waiting to see whether they will accept it or not. It’s slightly confusing but to sum it up, the I-864 just isn’t in the right section and was uploaded in the tax income section instead.

As far as I know marriage base I-485 cant be upload online by your lawyer. In my experience with filing by mail ( only)  USCIS upload it online, it always look like something is missing on my USCIS website account when I look it up but I know thats not the case

Our case is at NVC not USCIS. We are waiting for them to review our documents hopefully within the next week as we last submitted the documents on March 22nd.
