I received an e-mail with some of this text:

"The U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico approved your request to process your immigrant visa case expeditiously. We are forwarding your case file to the embassy or consulate for their action."

this e-mail was one week ago, now the case status is in 'READY', means than CD Juarez Consulate already received the 'Case File'.

do you received a similar letter and how long you need to wait until receive an appointment?

Note: my Visa Type is for E3 (from Employment)

thanks.

what type of Visa ?

how long was the Appointment date since that day?

Thanks

It was an IR-1 visa, but once your case is "Ready" I don't think it matters very much. They'll just schedule the appointment as soon as they can. I was notified four weeks prior to the appointment.

Nov 8, 2021 - Changed to "Ready"

Jan 13, 2022 - Received email with appointment date

Feb 10, 2022 - Interview appointment.

I saw some movements in my account during last week, now, "Case Last Updated = 15-June-2022", previously was 23-may-2022

so, today is 4th week my case turns into "READY".

let's continue waiting ...

call the consulate!

There is a chance they already have a date available for your appointment. It takes them a while to send out the email notification.

From Mexico: (656) 227-3000
From the U.S.: 011 52 (656) 227-3000

Options 2, 3, 1, 1
