It will, likely, be several more months for the approval.....could another year before getting the visa.  Almost all I-129s go to California.....only US citizens can file an I-129f...

The immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and money......Patience is the key.... good luck.

If you filed February 2022, estimate March 2023 for the NOA2 at the current processing speeds. After NOA2, everything is embassy-specific; only the I-129F processing is standard for everyone.

I don't imagine I-129F to continue taking 13 months of processing if the goal is 6 by the end of 2023, but it definitely won't be back to 6-8 by January 2023 unfortunately.

You can use Visajourney's stat pages to get estimates of your wait times at various stages of the K1 process.

If you follow the example for how I estimated my wait times, you can probably get an estimate of your wait times?

Good luck!

If it helps: we are on day 399 and still no NOA2. When we applied times were posted at 6-8 months and have slowly shifted to 10.5-13.5 and we are currently over 13 with no end in sight. Many filers are currently over 400 days and still waiting. I sincerely hope yours is much shorter. I wouldn’t wish this awful wait on anyone.

How long usually it takes to get the visa?

This solely depends on the consulate and the backlog, as well Administrative Processing after the interview. Unless someone here went through India, it won’t be applicable to you.

We applied for I-129F petition for K1 visa in February 2022, received NOA1 in the same month.

When will we receive our NOA2 ? and how much time it takes to get the K1 visa once we receive NOA2 ?

Our case is with California center. Fiance is US citizen and I am Indian (beneficiary). Kindly advise.

I hate to break it to you but if I were you I would not expect this whole process to be done until late 2023 or early 2024.
