What is WAWA?

VAWA= violence against women act.

It allows men and women who were abused (physically or mentally) by a USC or LPR spouse to self petition...

So, they get LPR status without a sponsor.

A Green Card holder is required, by law, to carry it.

"Failing to have your green card with you is a misdemeanor and if you are found guilty you can be fined up to $100 and put in jail for up to 30 days."

You are also required by law to drive the speed limit or face fine and and or jail time. I'm sure everyone follows that one.

Who said he needs to bring it to her? Can't that exchange be made through a third party? That would make more than "zero sense" right?

You are splitting hairs or what I said if she needs or wants it she will contact him and they can make arrangements or that he should reach out to her to get it to her. We can agree to disagree on that .

I am in 100% agreement with that last sentence.

Maybe talking to her in a public setting would be better. If there is a domestic violence issue, whether it goes one way or both ways, I don't think she should go back into that house.

Meeting at home is for a couple that wants to reconcile. If that’s not possible  then that’s fine. He can just file for divorce then.

Meeting in public just creates more potential false witnesses for the orchestrated and calculated smear campaign against OP.

I have no problem with phone calls.

My problem with phone calls is that they can be recorded. OP needs to stop creating paper and electronic  trails that cause himself trouble.

I think if you are worried about false accusations you would definitely want to meet in a public space where there would be plenty of people around. It would be difficult to say someone did something in a space full of people and nobody witnessed it. If it was just the man and woman alone, that's where she could make an accusation, bruise herself up or whatever she wanted to do, especially after he already admitted to hitting her previously.

She isn't going to get a crowd of people she doesn't know in a public space to be false witnesses against her husband.
