Timeline

You can check online for the case processing times predicted by each office on the following site

 

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

 

For Potomac is currently says 12 (normal)  / for Moroc do not expect any faster than a year

and the case can be transferred at another office for processing at any time so let's hope  USCIS informs u if that happens / they do not always send out  a notice 

 

and u just sent petition out in January of 22 so you will need patience for this process to play out

 

Is this for parents?

NSC = Nebraska Service Center

NBC = National Benefits Center

NVC Documentality Qualified: 08/09/2023

and then there is NVC which is National visa center and the 2nd step (in about a year) when u will submit proofs of income and other civil documents

Hi all,

Submitted standalone I-130 in May-21, initially sent to Nebraska but then moved to Potomac. 

Just passed 12 months with nothing to report. No complications or issues on our side, just a simple USC petitioning for spouse.

Yes sometimes this process is very stressful, and all we can do is wait and hope for the best.
