but it says the first available interviews date is June 6 which we definitely can’t make without the medical examination

Is it a requirement there to have the medical exam before the interview?  Everywhere else, the CO places the visa in "Refused" status after the interview until the medical exam arrives.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You need the interview appointment confirmation letter to schedule the medical examination in Russia or Poland, also the medical examination is valid for 6 months? But the interview date could goes beyond that

That is standard procedure at most consulates.  Yes, the medical exam is valid for 6 months......which also determines the visa expiration sate.   You can schedule the interview, print the letter, then schedule the medical exam...even if it is after the interview.

The doctor in Warsaw didn’t care whether we had an interview scheduled or not. They asked for NVC number though. So, you can feel free to get the medical done anytime, but remember that the validity of the k1 visa is bounded by the validity of the medical exam (6 months).

Also, I’ve heard that if you show up for your interview without having received the interview instructions email from the embassy, they will cancel your appointment.

All of this is correct. I was hesitant to answer the medical question because I didn't recall what we were asked for, but this sounds right; we were only asked for the case number. I think it is on you to figure out whether you'll have the appointment within six months.

When the June cancellation appointments fill up, the earliest appointments thereafter should be December 2022. Those did not fill up when I checked. And yes, you 100% need the instructions before your appointment, because otherwise it'll be cancelled and it'll be difficult to access the calendar again. I know it's inconvenient, but perhaps you could try to do everything now, including the medical, in anticipation of another cancellation in the future?

I saw some open spots in June, but I didn’t see any other open dates in December 2022 or anytime in 2023 or 2024
