Is there a possibility of this negatively affecting my I-130 petition?

So I am a USC petitioning my spouse and have been using my US passport for proof of US citizenship since I am living abroad with him. My passport expires next year and the way things are going with the processing times, I need to renew my passport to stay here with him. I will have to update my passport eventually on the petition, right?

That is not my real question. I need to file for N-565 in order to replace my lost naturalization certificate. Before I came to live with my spouse, I left my important documents with my mom. Well when I asked her to fish it out for me so I can file the I-130, she told me she couldn't find it...so now I have to get it replaced. The cost to replace is 535...and I was wondering, since I do qualify for the fee waiver, seeing as my income is below the poverty line (will be using joint sponsor for my spouse's affidavit of support), will it affect my spouse's I-130 petition?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

No impact at all. You've already provided the needed evidence you are a US Citizen.  No need to replace your certificate unless you want to.  Your passport wont' be needed again until you need to use it for travel.  Nothing to do with the process.

Fee waiver for what?

I can apply for a fee waiver with my N-565 application to replace my naturalization certificate. The cost of 535 can be waived because my income is below the poverty line.

I was wondering if asking for a fee waiver based on low income can affect my husband's immigration visa.

It could.  Why do it?  You don't need it now.  If you want it later, get it after the visa process is over.

Will your income qualify you to sponsor your spouse in the future? If yes? I don't think those two forms have any connection especially if they have different poverty guidelines. If no than I think your biggest issue would finding a joint sponsor.
