Thank you for the link but  this link was already posted several times, it had absolutly 0 Impact on processing times.

Second, Covid backlog has nothing to do with current situation in K1 since they are processing cases that were submitted in March/April 2021 => pandemic started in Feb 2020.

And my charts show exactly what happened, in October 2021 processing rate for K1 has collapsed, it went from over 2200 cases per month to 1100 per month. This led to the situation where they took 3 Months to process February 2021.

Since Mid of January 2022 they have been processing March 2021 cases and are still not finished.

Highlight happened last week when USCIS decided to change their website, to make it "more transparent", were basicaly they hid actual waiting times that were 10-13 Months (13 months being actual waiting time) to show only 10,5 Month as average waiting time (what is anything but honest) and hid actual wait time of 13,5 Months. You can see new layout of the Website on screen shot bellow. First red circle is "fake processing time", second is hidden actual processing time in my case 13.5 Months. Now to see actual processing time, you need to check your receipt date.

Also what happened in 2019 is not relevant to what is happening now, please follow what is happening in the Topic Groups for each month since this has been discussed for last 2 Weeks now., since many people have been upset by dishonesty of USCIS, and we had influx of new members to ask, why they case is not being processed when according to new website wait is 10,5 months and they are already waiting for 13+ Months

This is true. Even a very well known attorney has noticed that there was a certain time period between 2020 and 2021 where some cases simply went into a black hole. Then, all of a sudden, they started working on more recent cases.
As @Vegas i-751 has stated, posted processing times are bs. I’m not comparing visas or gc processing either, but I applied for my gc in October 2019 and for the Pittsburgh FO the processing times was 22 months. I got mine in six months, interview waived and everything

The main difference between these dates is explained in the "More Information About Case Processing Times".  The estimated processing time is based on a calculation of the time  taken to process 80% of the cases.  But the outside normal processing date is based on the time taken for 93% of the cases to be processed.  So, out of every 1,000 cases, the estimated processing date is for when it is expected that 800 of the cases would have been approved or denied -- leaving 200 still being worked on.  If you, unfortunately, are amongst those 200 cases, you can't inquire about your case until the time when it is expected that 930 of the 1,000 cases will be finished.

When is USCIS going to start processing May 2021, it seems like they operate backwards in typical American fashion.🙄

NO ONE KNOWS...

that is the answer.

USCIS is going to do what is best for USCIS and if that means that forget K1 May filers that means they forget May filers.

All that matters are the numbers reported to Congress.

If you are unhappy you should petition to have K1s treated differently.

The truth is every US citizen should care about the process involved in petitioning a foreign fiance/spouse even after their process is done.

Only after caring about every single petitioner will the backlog clear...

(just my opinion... if you only care about your case reach out to your congressman).

I think the real TLDR here is that yes, posted processing times are and have always been, inaccurate, but for I-129F, they're only worse than what's posted and not better. @DSBeijing has run numbers for us religiously and confirmed what was noted since October: processing halved and never truly recovered. There is, absent an expedite or random pull of cases, no way that a filer will get their NOA2 within 10.5 months anymore. Perhaps other forms are different, but at least for I-129F, we're at 13+ months and that won't change anytime soon based on the numbers we run.

93% of cases do not get processed within 10.5 months. I have no idea how that number is allegedly calculated but that's confirmed impossible at this point. My only theory is that the expedites from 2022 are dragging that number down immensely so we get 10.5, and that's why they've set the real inquiry date at 13, but who knows. My point is that every March filer was in-and-out of expected processing at least three times before it got pushed back. Little on USCIS' wait page should be trusted, we have the accurate numbers here which, imho, are definitive.

Random point: apparently there was a pretty devastating fire in Laguna Niguel today. Hopefully that didn't impact CSC.

May 2021 is too long to wait for ANY action from USCIS. This is just step 1, so who knows how long the whole process will end up taking. I'm an April filer still waiting, and I share their frustration. You're coming off kind of dismissive.

1. AOS: case outside of processing times, reached out to USCIS and got an interview scheduled for me (Michael Bennet’s office).

2. I751: case stuck in NJ office (I have moved to VT by then and changed my address months before), reached to Cory Booker’s office who couldn’t help because case was out of their jurisdiction but put me directly in touch with someone in Bernie Sanders’ office.

3. I751: Bernie Sanders’ office assisted in transferring my case to VT office in two days. They even forwarded me the email chain from USCIS NJ employee who confirmed that they located my case and it was being transferred.
4. (forgot about this one) Passport: Nancy Pelosi’s office assisted with expediting my passport & after their outreach I received my approval the next day.

Please don't be offended, but we (K1 Filers) have now been tracking process for over 13 Months now, and every now and then, there is an "old-timer" on the forum that shows and starts saying things that are simply not reality anymore. This doesnt help original poster of this topic, since he is getting conflicting information's, and since they have been waiting for so long, they start stressing out that their application is somehow wrong.

In last 6 Months processing times have doubled and went from 7 Months to 13.5 Months.

You can web scrape data from USCIS website yourself and see. I personally track all K1 Cases for last 12 Months.

There are no checkout lanes, variables or anything, USCIS is simply not processing enough cases to reduce backlog, so they will constantly skip part of months just to artificially show better processing times than they really are.

Fact is, that in last 6 months processing for K1s has collapsed, and this is clearly visible on screenshot, on screenshot 2 you can see how many NOA1 cases have been touched in last 2 Weeks, as you see 151 June cases. Only reason these cases have been processed, is that they are artificiality trying to keep showing that K1 processing time is 10.5 Months, even though real time is 13.5 Months.
