Hi @Beshoy Farid

Please if you'd share your timeline when you exactly received your interview letter?

If anyone knows on what month the embassy in Cairo is working on.

I think they working on December DQ based on some post I read on Facebook. They finished November 2022 and working on December 2022 for citizens spouse cases. Green card spouse cases take a little longer.

I'm not sure if this the interview letter or the actual interview date so hopefully in 2 or 3 months we'll have a reply soon.

It seems that this stage is really hard to know how long things will take but it's getting faster than during the pandemic days for sure.

If I have anything new I'll let you know here.

I have been stocking some people’s timelines to get an idea of when an interview might be scheduled for us in Egypt.

i noticed many people get an interview date exactly 2 weeks after they’re packet 3 documents are sent to the embassy. Is that correct?

Isn’t that a bit short notice? I mean you only have 2 weeks to schedule your medical exam before the interview no?

 Here’s an example

I’m doing a K1 visa what would be considered DQed? Embassy requested papers including affidavit of support and stuff and we sent them that about 2 weeks ago.

 Haven’t heard anything since

That's very good news, that means they're working on your case and will schedule your interview soon in the embassy, some people here have had it in similar timeline like yours. I was wondering when the NVC sent the case to the embassy for continuing processing. We have been docmementarily qualified since January but nothing yet from the embassy!

Is K1 typically faster than IR1/CR1 in Egypt? It's seems faster to me 😂. Little jealous not going to lie but still hopeful 🙏🙏

Before COVID K1 used to take 6 months from start to visa in hand. Now it’s taking almost 2 years

Congrats!!!! What did you need for the medical exam? The doctor we called freaked out about how “too soon” and “too fast” the embassy is moving.

Also any extra papers you had to take with you to the interview?
