Hi everyone,

I feel so bad asking so many questions!!

We submitted all the required docs last month and additional docs.   My husband just got his job offer letter to transfer jobs, stateside. I want to upload this onto NVC under additional AOS supporting docs.  Do I hit submit documents in the red square on the right hand corner?   Or is that going to re-set my time from when I submitted all the required documents?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

you can submit the documents that way - the outcome varies, as we've seen people for whom submitting documents had no impact, and others practically go back to the end of the line and the date of last document submission is the date when their application gets in the queue...

were you already documentarily qualified?

No point in uploading a job offer letter for the transfer. You can upload it and bring it to the interview once he starts working/getting paychecks per new job. NVC may reject the AOS and ask for joint sponsor if they process the offer letter with no paychecks.

Hi everyone, has anyone had to go back to the que and wait 3 months for submitting additional documents ( not required documents ) ?

There’s a couple things I wanted to upload before DQ, but hesitant if it resets the clock too.

It doesn't reset the time.

If you follow the month of submission threads you'll see several people have successfully uploaded additional documents with no issue.

When was your last submission?

It was my first and only submission mid April :)

I’m just Terrified of getting a checklist for things that weren’t under the required portion.
We were approved for a conditional expedite with Montreal so I’d really hate to have to start over
