I am confused about which affidavit of support id required.  Before discovering this site I used Rapid Visa to assist with my application, the I-134 they have is completely different the one I got opened from the link provided by the NVC  https://www.uscis.gov/i-134.     This one is asking for financial information of the beneficiary as well as mine, I thought this form was for the sponsor?

Thanks in advance for any help

I-134 was recently updated (Edition Date: 4/25/2022). Best to use the latest version.

I posted a few comments about how I would fill out the new I-134 at

This one is current: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-134.pdf

Looks like the I-134 has evolved.....

Yes. But remember DS-160 is technically filled out by the visa applicant (beneficiary).

So the petitioner can certainly help fill out, but remember to fill out the form from the perspective of the beneficiary. See how I did it here:

Also keep in mind that each embassy/consulate DS-160 or UStravelDocs forms may be a little different as each may have their own process.

I highly recommend that the petitioner and the beneficiary work together to keep the DS-160 and UStravelDocs forms consistent with the I-129F and use something like Google Meet or Zoom for screen sharing so that both can see what is going on while working together.

Good luck!!!

Received the letter from the consulate today, only to me as sponsor and not to my beneficiary.  I assumed that she would be registering the account at the website, but am I the registrant?  do we just share the one account?

a little confused about proper way to proceed

Thanks

I thought we had to submit an affidavit of support with evidence so I gathered the information but after our approval and going over the steps again I came across the site and it said we didn’t need it until after my fiancé entered the states. I have the information already gathered so I will update you guys if we don’t have to.
