Hi! It seems I just became DQ’d. My only concern is that all documents appear as ACCEPTED except the J1 Exchange Visitor Documentation, which says SUBMITTED instead (see below). Anyone who’s got to ask for the J1 waiver had the same situation prior to going to the interview? I’m wondering if that means I’m still Documentarily Qualified... Thanks in advance.

Hi Sabela,

I'm also going through NVC and requiring the J1 waiver. I asked on this forum and someone was saying that the J1 waiver is not required at this stage, but that it is needed at interview time. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/783211-when-is-the-j1-waiver-proof-required-during-consular-processing/

Do you have any updates on your case?

Where did you get the advice that you should've uploaded the waiver at this step? I'm not saying it is wrong but just want to plan my time-line as I'm waiting for a copy of the J1 waiver right now.

Thanks!
