What is the absolute cheapest most horrible way any of you can come up with to travel over seas? I don't care if I'm in a plane cargo area with the dogs and gorillas or what not. Doesn't matter if it's the cargo hold of a ship. I'm just curious to see what viable ways y'all can come up with for traveling out of the US.

I've seen an article or 2 about travelling on cargo ships. Its about half the cost of a cruise ship, and of course, absolutely no amenities except meals.

Or you could head down to the docks and just hitch-hike. See who is going where.
