Hello! I want to get a piercing (nostril) but I'm not sure if I'll need one more photo to force me to take it off (?)... I already had the biometrics appointment and also the photo when I went to take the written test for my driver's license, so I'm not sure if another photo is coming any time soon in this process to migrate to the US?

Thanks in advance!

I can't think of anything where you would need to take a picture that requires you to remove the piercing. Even if you would have to take another picture for your DL that usually doesn't require to remove it.

  • You can wear jewelry and keep on your facial piercings as long as they do not hide your face. Permanent tattoos are acceptable for passport purposes as well

only thing not allowed is glasses as they hide the eyes
