Hi this is my timeline:

I applied together with I-130, I-485, and I-765 . My notice date is on April 27,2007.

I took the biometrics on May 18,2007. But until now, i haven't got any interview notice.

When should i get my interview notice? By the way, My EAD has been approved, and I got the card on July 14,07.

Thanks in any replies.!

My NOA1 date is March 29, 2007. I am still waiting for an interview date. Even though it feels like you're being left behind, I am learning that it is more common than it appears from everyone else's timelines to not have an interview/transfer within the first 6 weeks.

Hi Melemelex,

Reading your sidebar, I see that LA is your local office. From what I understand from chatting with other LA office applicants (though we all sent our stuff to MSC), it takes a few months to get an interview in LA. Supposedly the average is 96 days after the biometrics; and about 190 days for the whole process. A lawyer we consulted but didn't use, said we should expect it to take about 4-5 months for an inteview to be scheduled.

You can see how other LA local office applicants are doing by checking out the AoS timelines. I'm attaching a document that was posted by Silke on the May filers thread that may help.

Cheers, Cardamom

Thanks for the replies. Actually, my I-485 case is in California Service Center (CSC), although i live in LA, but they transferred my case to CSC. I got my EAD card on July 14,2007 and I'm just wondering when should I get the interview notice for my Green card, is there any possible way they approve my green card without interview needed?

I read some articles about system delayed in CSC, but I just don't really understand what it means. Could someone plz tell me the details. Thank you

If you are 100% sure your case was transferred to CSC, then most likely you will not have an interview at all. The vast, vast majority (like 99%) of all cases transferred to CSC do not require interviews. They just approve you and send your GC in the mail.

My attorney sent all of my package to Chicago lock box, my receipt number starts with MSC. But for my GC, they transferred it to CSC and my I-130 (petition for alien relative). For my EAD, they didn't transfer to CSC, and i got the EAD card on July 14,2007. I'm just curious now, after all worries for EAD finally done, when should i get interview notice? Are u sure that majority people that have their case in CSC do not need to have interview? Btw, my case was based on family relative, not marriage.

I would have replied "YES, I'm sure" except I saw your very last sentence. I do not know too much about family relative AOS. Perhaps it's the same, perhaps it's not the same. But definitely for marriage based K-1 AOS, transfers to CSC has basically meant no interviews, except for a super tiny minority of less than 1%.

I'm sure someone else will answer your question.
