Enter the correct level in the ds260. No it doesn’t matter.

Asking the question in different forums doesn’t change the answer. You worked illegally, which means you went out of status, which means you are permanently ineligible to adjust status on DV (or any basis other than an immediate relative family petition).

I didn’t went out of status I was legally in US on tourist visa and I worked 3 months on social security. When i m going to apply now for dv 2023 and when i will go in my country to embassy i m concerned that they will see that I worked illegally..Most of people they are telling stories that they will found out and they will reject me

If you worked on a tourist visa you were out of status. That means you cannot adjust,

If it was less than 180 days though, you don’t have a ban and that doesn’t impact your ability to get an immigrant visa at a consulate. This is not an ineligibility for an immigrant visa.

Yup, that was a mistake to violate the terms of your visa.

Hi,

I was selected for dv-2023 lottery.

I've allready filled and submitted ds-260 form and got back confirmation page.

How long do you think KCC will be processing my case?

My number is EU21xxx

Thanks in advance for the answer.

Depends what you mean by “processing”

It usually takes a few weeks to process the DS260

its not clear yet if they will be requesting documents this fiscal year so that would be another step/process, if they do

but other than that don’t expect to hear anything until the interview notification about 6-8 weeks before your interview date. You can look at past visa bulletins for an idea of when your number might become current

I have a question? I just realized one mistake I made in Dv lottery application. I am a selectee from EU , I did put my country of birth Uzbekistan, and I am a citizen of Azerbaijan so I put country of chargeabiliry Azerbaijan based on where I lived . So yesterday of family member told me it should have been Uzbekistan. I am currently in USA and I filed AOS 10 days ago since my number for EU region current for march  . Will I have issues due to that mistake I made because now I see Uzbekistan has exception and number is less than  the rest of the EU region .

I also don’t think your visa number is too high. May 2022 visa bulletin is already on 27,000 for Europe - keep following it through September and you’ll see when in the year your number comes up next year. They also do designation of Current for DV categories- it means everyone who has interviews will be interviewed right up to the deadline of September 30.

I think you can also look at past visa bulletins (I’d skip 2020 and 2021 as it wouldn’t be representative due to covid) to see when the number was listed (number range, not exact number) and/or when it turned current.

Oh, so that is what the VISA bulletin shows. How many that have been approved?
