It has been in the news, IRS website, and in social media not to file paper returns if you want a quick tax return.  So you will have to wait until they process paper returns which can be up to more than one year after you filed.

Well, yeah. I know...

It wasn't my decision to paper file. It was my husband's. And it's been 15 months since we filed. IRS states in the news that they will "probably" get 2020 tax returns done by the end of December.

I just wanted to give an update...

The IRS processed the second tax return, which I sent in April 2022.

I'm starting to think that the first one we sent in February 2021 belonged to the over 30,000,000 unprocessed tax returns that got destroyed in March 2021.

Well, but anyway.

At least I finally got SOMETHING 😁
