Good afternoon , I have a quick question for those that recently has gotten the immigrant visa , my mom when to the interview , the supposed to give her the paper call uscis immigrant paper work to pay visa fee, but she stated she did not get any paper at the interview time, The issued the visa and we are waiting for it but I am just wondering if that paper has to be given the interview day.

A number will be on the visa under registration Number as indicated in the above site showing a sample visa 

 

its right under DOS case # 

and doesn't now always have an A in front

Both numbers she needs will be printed on the visa, itself.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
