I was denied my N400 due to the IRS not registering certain tax years, which has been corrected.

However my N336 which i never received notice to attended a hearing for (no electronic via online USCIS profile or in writing in the mail) was denied cause i never showed up for a hearing i never knew was scheduled.

I have no idea where to turn next. I cant afford a lawyer. The blogs and letters say i need a court date with a district court but everywhere i call or email they say i’m not in the system. How do i get into the system for a hearing?? Please any help

Not sure, but you may want to try the USCIS Ombudsman.

Good Luck!

Do you have a copy of the N-336 denial ? If not you need to get one.

1. Try something titled “  Service Motion to Re Open Reconsider due to Service Error / Lack of Notice” ,  state your facts and mail it certified to ( by name ) Field District Director where you interviewed. ( they may or may not accept or even act on it )

2. Get InfoPass ( by phone or interactive online chat) and take w you a copy of what you emailed, maybe you can get through to N-400 Supervisor and plead discretion.

3. Contact Congressman ( ask for Congressional Liason Assistance)

4. File a new N-400

The blogs you quote are telling you that to challenge , after N-400 and N-336 denied you have to sue them in court, so unless you hire an attorney or try a DIY , it is less costly to just refile N-400….so you don’t “ appear “ in that court system ( it’s NOT immigration court ) unless you bring legal action.
