Hi there,

My finance filed the I-129f in October 2020. We received an RFE in September 2021 and USCIS received our response in October 2021. Then we have been waiting... It's over 7 months since the RFE. I wonder if anyone had the similar waiting time? I can't believe the K-1 visa process has taken so long...

Thanks

Is there anything peculiar/special about your case? I've heard of extended RFE delays but waiting almost a year in 2020 to get a response is very strange to me. 7 months for RFE response is indeed way, way too long.

Yes I guess it's because we didn't provide the direct evidence showing we met in the past two years. We responded to the RFE with affidavit of witness. As we changed our phones, we didn't have pics to show we were together.... Maybe I should not wait anymore if CR1 could be an option.
