Can you extend to 59 days entry at NAIA airport

Timeline

Yes you can get the 59 day visa at the airport, I did it  .. that was many years ago and it was late night, many in the office were gone, all I had was USD,  they had to hunt for enough pesos to give me change, but we got it done.

I wonder if that option is still viable since they just recently opened the up the Philippines for international tourist.

As of now you can't extend at the airport upon arrival
