I made an odd mistake on my I-130 online about the date my current marriage ended. Would this affect my case?

I swear the question asked when did my last marriage end not when did the current marriage end. Anyhow I've been married twice, it has both marriages at the same divorce date.

I printed the Page ( which was page 3 ) and refilled the information and reuploaded it with a letter stating that the change was. This isn't something mayor that would cause my case to be resent correct ?

Did you file online?

This is a common error.

I believe you can send in a typo request to correct the issue.

Is there an specific way to make a type o request? I uploaded a word document explaining the error with my marriage certificate attached and another document with the I-130 page 3 corrected to a blank answer.

Hopefully someone else will come along and explain it but I think this is it: (based on description in the thread I linked).

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayTypoForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=typoError

(Did a google search and this was the answer).

This link refers to how to correct a typo error on a document sent BY the USCIS to the applicant .. not an error on a form

from the applicant TO the USCIS

From your description, the evidence to correct the error would be on your divorce decree.  Maybe I misunderstood.  Please clarify.

@mamba69 how did you correct the error with divorce end dates on your I-130?

It would be on both, but because I didn't know there was a specific website to correct these types of errors i submitted an extra word document (letter) stating the error and attached the marriage certificate that would show it's impossible for me to have gotten divorced to my current wife when we got married at a later date from the stated divorce.

Now I understand.  I assume you had already sent the divorce decree anyway.
