Congratulations to everyone approved.

To everyone else (including myself), stay strong...

Thank you and all the best for a speedy approval in the next coming days🙂. They are definitely much faster and only be a matter of days.

Congrats to everyone who's been approved.. lord knows its been quite a wait.

Iv been reading some of the FB posts on the USCIS FB page an this person is saying that some of the applicants are getting refused.. not request for additional information but refused/denied because they didnt label/personalise the photos on the back of the pictures they submitted.. including passport pics.. i labeled all my pisc in my folder  an the passport pics as well with out writing on the back of them.. when i was putting our I129F together the blogs said to just label the personal pictures an even some of the examples showed labeling next to the mounted picture... . So im wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this subject..

As i watch them get closer to my NOA1 day an dance around a little past me with approvals im guess im now looking for more things to keep me up a night... 😀

This is ridiculous. I don't even know how you could have enough information to make a conclusion like this. Also, where did uscis even explicitly state to label photos. The data that i see coming in every day clearly shows that most cases are either approved or sent an RFE. Denied cases tend to be older ones. We just simply don't have the data to support a claim like this.

thanks so much for the reassurance.. i try not to quote FB because everybody there is an expert or something.. im in the same thought process as yours.. even when i did the intial reasearch the peope posting examples of the labeling said that they havent seen anything official about the requirenment to do so but had heard it was a good idea . So they did it so as not to leave anything to chance.

They say it in the instructions to label the passport photos (no instuctions on labelling other photos thought):

Quote

Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number (if any) on the back of the photo.

How would the FB author even know getting rejected because not labeling photos? I doubt the UCSIS would send a rejection with that explanation.
I am sure you are fine with your petition.

It's scary how in 2023 we can't even see or update our applications online.

I mean, USCIS scans every file in from the get-go.

So, it's online already.

Just not for peasants (us).

$535 paid to be denied basics.

Getting ancy/nervous as the days pass. My date range seems to be getting processed slower than the other ranges touched so far, and higher chunk of denials.  Makes me think my batch was assigned to a case worker who’s strict and slow. 😰

It could also be the officer is still partially processing cases before May.
I felt the same, my block of neighboring cases were slower than others but then it got faster and finally approved.
It'll happen soon.🙂

Another day and no approval. NOA1 5/10/2022.  I knew that cases after me would be approved before mine but I didn't realize how disheartening it would actually be.  I was so excited when May cases started to be approved and now it's just torture every day.  I envision my file having fallen under a desk accumulating dust each day.  I realize I had originally planned on NOA2 in August but with so many other May approvals I let myself get excited thinking it would be earlier.  :(  Thanks for letting me vent.

Many of these denials happened a long time ago for a variety of reasons (not signing the form, old form version, etc.). My range, 80500-81000 was behind the other groups around it, and it is still a bit higher % untouched, but its had much more approvals this week. Hopefully someone working on the earlier cases wraps up and focuses on your group next!
