No I still follow this thread literally daily. My DQ is April 5 2023 and I know my wife interview time won’t come for another 1.5 year. It’s sad to see Pakistan going very slow while I was looking at India and they are getting approved 6-8 after getting DQed. It’s very sad. I’m debating to whether visit wife or not due to condition of Pakistan.

I think people stop following knowing it’s a 2-3 years wait and will come back here when their time is near.

Will be better for you to transfer your case to other US embassy instead of waiting for the useless embassy of the world.
If you want wait for this useless third class US embassy Islamabad then move to Pakistan and relax so whenever your spouse get visa then return to USA.

I'm sick of waiting alone with my two kids, I miss my husband. I want to visit him. He wants me to visit him and stay until his interview but my toddler will go to school and I need to enroll her in April 2024. I've been traveling back and forth but now I have 2 kids and flying is a drag with them two. A toddler and infant. Knowing my husband he'll send me back to the States pregnant with a third baby😅 I wish Islamabad would hurry up. My DQ is Nov. 2022

Here We all wish a miracle can happen and we get together with our families but US embassy Islamabad is punishing us for being Pakistani based U.S citizens. US government special care is for Indians only. They don’t care about us.

I’m in the same boat. Planing on going to Pakistan with my two months old and staying there until hubby gets his visa. It’s a show.

&poodena I think everyone left or something. It’s just us two updating the thread. Thought once I received my wife letter I will stop posting the updates.

Hey! I follow this thread! Haha sorry I'm silent. I get anxiety knowing even after interview people are still waiting! My congresswoman informed me it could take 6 months after interview for the visa if they want additional information... I'm praying that's not the case for Basit and I. Been trying to manifest they move faster, not just for us but for everyone else waiting ahead of us! Keep praying and keep those good vibes up!

Oh WOW I been using protection with my husband, I'm terrified of having kids during this process (I'm 28). So congrats to you for being able to do that with not only one, but two kids while waiting! You should add me on Facebook haha. I been visiting my husband every 9 months but now I'm waiting for the interview to get scheduled which should happen by summer so it'll be a year then I waited since last visiting. Might have to wait again after the interview. Either way I'm taking leave (3 months hopefully) from my job for the interview. If he doesn't get the visa by then I'll ask for more leave when he does get it so we can enjoy time together in America finally. I wish so badly I can stay in Pakistan until he can move with me but I own my house and have seniority at my job.

It's a lot easier traveling when kids are in a carrier than it is when they're walking.  :P

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It sounds like everybody needs a joke now, so here is one:

==========================================

THE SPECIAL DEAL

A doctor can't find a job in a hospital, so he opens his own clinic and puts up a sign outside:  "GET TREATMENT FOR $20 -- IF NOT CURED, GET BACK $100."

An immigration lawyer thinks that this is a great opportunity to earn $100, so he goes to the clinic.

Lawyer:  I have lost my sense of taste.

Doctor:  Nurse, bring medicine from box #22 and put 3 drops in his mouth.

Lawyer:  Ugh -- this is kerosene!

Doctor:  Congratulations; your sense of taste is restored.  Give me $20.

The annoyed lawyer goes back after a few days to recover his money.

Lawyer:  I have lost my memory.  I cannot remember anything.

Doctor:  "Nurse, bring medicine from box #22 and put 3 drops in his mouth.

Lawyer (annoyed):  This is kerosene.  You gave this to me last time for restoring my taste.

Doctor:  Congratulations; you got your memory back.  Give me $20.

The fuming lawyer pays him and then comes back a week later, determined to get back $100.

Lawyer:  My eyesight has become very weak -- I can't see at all.

Doctor:  Well, I don't have any medicine for that, so take this $100.

Lawyer (staring at the note):  But this is $5, not $100!

Doctor:  Congratulations; your eyesight is restored.  Give me $20.

No still refused status and no answer what the heck they need? Keep sending inquiries, lawyer, senator, congressman, petitioner and beneficiary, reply is same under counselor review.dates change on every inquiry but no luck. Waiting patiently then only way is Mandamus. More money more frustration, more time.😞😠🙏🏽

Yes your congresswoman is right they're making excuses with some cases God knows why some have reason but some people are waiting for no reason even after interview. Good luck everyone.
