If anyone who had their interview and stuff for their spouse please update us on if they actually ask for updated documents and if we have to upload the updated to the website  and what questions were asked during the interview. It would gladly help us for the the ones that are waiting for interview so we can know from your spouse experience. So that we also do not make mistakes at all when it comes for us as well.

Hey guys our interview was May 12 for IR1 and was cancelled because of Poltics, now it is rescheduled to May 31 I had arrived in Pakistan may 20 and intended on leaving may 30 my ticket is purchased.

if the interview for Ir1 is may 31st can we guess when they will give my wife her visa?

how long have other females waited for their visa? Should I extend my ticket? And if so how long I would like to know how quick other females have received their visa once the interview was approved?

please update on your spouse issued visa and how things went so it can help us as well. Also let us know any documents updated if they asked. I wish you guys the best of luck 🤞

Hello,

I am little bit stressed about the interview process because we have already waited so long. Now online(one many chatroom) I read that someone say they want updated documents. However, on state website it says that AOS docs dont expire and are indefinate. So I am not sure if to submit additional docs because dont want to raise unnecessary questions/doubts to this already slow process.

Yes upload all current AOS and other Tax documents etc. and also carry along to show at the interview, officer will ask about those certainly.

Thank you for your reply, but should we update all these documents when the embassy/nvc have not asked for updated documents and even on the site it says the AOS docs dont expire/are indefinate. Did you have to update when you went thru this process?

Yes you have to update the AOS and recent tax returns for every Year till you get your visa but upload that after  you receive your interview letter and bring the copies on interview to avoid AP you must do that I heard they asked those papers and if co sponsor they have to provide too.

I can share my own experience of immigration interview in 2016. I didn't had my updated tax returns which my co sponsor should have provided to me before the interview but went to the interview any way with what I had and was not even asked for any if the documents and my interview was the shortest of that day. I would suggest dont update your tax documents online just take those to your interview and present them when asked. Most of the time IO might not even ask for updates AOS unless he sees some thing in previous ones. But better to take the updated ones to your interview incase he asks. Good luck.
