On interview date CO gives the passport back and it we have returned them with additional document

Why did your wife receive a 221g though? Because in pakistan its mostly men who get their visa denied and not women. What was the reason she didnt get her visa?

She was missing husband previous divorce certificate that she provided next day

Uh oh sorry to hear that, my sisters husband is also in AP and was also handed 221g and it took them 11 months to respond because he forgot to show proof of the joint sponsors employment proof and they submitted it next day and it took islamabad embassy 11 months to respond and now they want the sponsors updated tax paperwork and they submitted that 2 weeks ago but no update yet.

That white slip 221g basically means your case is in AP, like i said same thing happened to my sisters husband they requested 1 document from him which was proof of employment for the joint sponsor he had and my sister submitted it next day after his interview and it took them 11 months to respond to that and now they want his updated employment documents and tax paperwork. My sisters husband has been in AP since April 2022, exactly 1 year.

Has anyone tried transferring their case to an embassy in another country? According to the US department of state website they are allowing you to try to transfer to another embassy even in another country in order to clear up backlogs in some countries. Of course the tricky part is being able to establish some sort of residency in that new country in order to transfer the case. I have thought about signing up my spouse (I am a USA citizen) for a study visa in some country with a lower interview wait time. For example Turkey allows a resident permit visa for people who sign up to learn Turkish language, although even for Turkey it appears to be a 6-7 month wait for an interview.

Anyone who had interview for their wife ir1 spouse recently. Can you let us know if we need to update any current pay stubs or tax return to take with when the interview time comes? Or any other updated documents or they can just bring the ones that we uploaded on ceac website and how about for vaccine for when they go for medical examination. I want to make sure everything is good when her interview letter comes. And no any issues.

it does not hurt a try if my wife had residency in Dubai I would have transfer her case their. So give it try and 6-7 months is better than two years.

Yes she needs to take updated IRS Tax return transcript, W2, paystub, and I864. I would wait to upload them to Ceac after i get the interview letter.

if there has been pay change or position change especially promotion get an updated employee verification letter.

My husband case was DQ'd May 2022. Once the US consulate Islamabad is close to that time (hopefully this year) i will complete a new I864, order 2022 Tax return transcript and W2. i will upload them online once we get the interview letter. Also i believe you need Covid vaccine proof for medical exam, i don't know about any other vaccine info.

If i could i would get work or student visa for Abu Dhabi they are faster than Dubai i think. If it was possible i would do India because right now they are processing October 2022 DQ's for IR1 cases.
