Looks like Islamabad embassy has disappeared in the workload piled up as a result of their slackness 😂 now they don't even want to acknowledge any genuine expedite requests and rejecting them without even reading a bit.

Yep I tried two or three times already and declined it within three days. I plan on suieeing nvc if I do not hear from them after 17 months. I’m going buy poodena to see if they are on track or not. I’m tired of waiting. But still long way to go

I am pretty sure lot of people are suing NVC but it's beaucratic game unless the top guy is personally bothered I don't think any thing going to be changed for third world citizens.😄

im still here. There is no update yet for the interview on what days they are doing. I also emailed my congress man to find out how long the wait time increase or if they can help with the expedite. I might start pushing them even though it’s not a guarantee but at least I can try. I advice you all should do to raise the issue.

Hello there:

I am on the immigration journey. I am a US citizen, and applied for my wife, we just got NVC documentary qualified yesterday.

I had a specific question regarding interview timing. I know it's taking a long time but there is a wrinkle.

I had spoken with another couple who did the fiancee visa I-129F, and they got their interview scheduled 2 months after NVC document qualified.

here is their time frame:

I-129F was approved :July 15, 2022

NVC left: Sept 12, 2022

Interview date: Nov 11, 2022

they did not expedite.

So I guess, I am wondering if the CR1 category (which we are) is in the same queue as the fiancee visa category for interview scheduling?

As per a review of this website and forums, it is taking 15-17 months from NVC DQ for CR1 applicants (is this right?)

I wanted to make sure that I am not missing something here.

My wait is still 15 months or so? or can I expect an interview date in 2-3 months?

Any input would be greatly helpful to myself and my wife.

at this moment we do not know how long is an estimate they are doing at Islamabad. At first it was 15-17 months so far we have not hear any news if they will speed up or not. I am surprise they are doing k-1 Visa and is approving as well quicker then cr1. if you have genuine reason to expedite then you should go for it but lately they have been declining expedite within a week for Islamabad. because they are priority afghan cases right now instead of Pakistan
