Hi everyone. Congrats to those who got their IL and interviews lined up. My mom's IR5 DQ date 8th April 2022. Her interview is scheduled for 4th Jan 2024. She hasnt received the interview letter in mail. We are still waiting. I read that some people just printed out the email version and had no issues at the time of interview. Is that right? Please let me know if anyone had similar issue. Thanks!

What you received in the email is the interview letter. Just print that out. Nothing would be received in the mail.

Hi,

My father was DQ on 2/3/23 and still waiting for the interview at ISL embassy

and my mother's case is still pending with the USCIS

anyone else on the same road!!!

Looks like you had to file a I-824? So that will have delayed things by quite some time, has that been finalised yet? You're not added to the queue for an interview until that's done.

Ah, so you only had to do the I-824 for one parent? What a pain! Are they happy to move separately or are you going to delay one interview until the other catches up?

I see. So your mother will wait to join with the siblings? You want to slow things down as much as possible then, you don't want her interview for several years yet.

No once she’s done with the interview she’ll come and grandparents will take care of the siblings and when siblings got their visas then can come

You can expect your wife's interview letter by April/May 2024.

They did kept the passport and asked for document to be uploaded eventhough I did uploaded everything now they want 1040 or irs tax return transcript not the wage and income transcript. Recieved 221(g)just hoping it doesnt take forever.

The officer told him they will issue the visa as soon as he can upload the document online.
