Had my interview today at the Washington DC office and was approved! The interview was super quick and mainly focused on the civics test, had barely any questions about my file, officer was super nice and relatable! This immigration marathon is finally over!

Howdy! My i751 status changed from case is being reviewed to “new card is being processed”. No interview nothing.
last week I inquired on my i751 and uscis responded the following:

“Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on 06/04/2021.  On 05/29/2022, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.  Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time.”

Am I supposed to expect to receive a date for my n400 interview soon then? Anyone experienced anything similar

Wow, congrats. I have already given up hope for 751 approval before my N400 interview.

Timeline

Hello to all. I’m here in Minnesota. Just wanna share my timeline. I filed N400 online on May 19, 2022 based on 3 year rule and I have a pending ROC(I751) that’s under Nebraska. My biometrics was reused, my status for N400 changed to interview scheduled but my roc didn’t move at all and I submitted an inquiry after Dec 25, 2022. On January 10, 2023 I had combo interview in Duluth MN, passed all the questions but officer put approval on hold because of pending ROC that was not transferred yet to his jurisdiction. Over all experience was good. I was nervous for nothing. My officer look very serious but actually he was very nice and kind of funny. I came with my husband but he was sent outside the suite to wait for me. January 12, 2023 I called LIN hotline in the morning and was answered by an al. Without hesitation I called my congressman office and was so happy I talked to a real person and he assured me he will get my case to the congressman. I don’t know if it’s because I called the congressman but later that day at midnight, my status changed for both ROC (moved to new office) and N400(Oath Ceremony will be scheduled). I’m so happy, my prayers are heard. I am still yet to receive my oath taking ceremony schedule notice or letter.

Goodluck everyone! My journey will finally come to end soon and yours will be next.

Congrats!!!

What do you mean you submitted an inquiry? And why did you contact congressman? Sorry - I have been waiting for a N-400 interview since June 6 2022 and there's no movement (other than the biometrics reuse the same day). My ROC was approved last month without interview, but still no movement on N400.

Did you check your USCIS account?

My interview is 3 weeks and still did not receive any letter in the mail. If I haven’t checked my account on USCIS I wouldn’t have known of the date and time of my interview.

Thank you and sorry to hear about your case. I contacted the congressman to help me with my ROC that was still stuck in the biometric reused status and I had to do it because I already did my n400 interview. My IO was not able to approve me on the spot because my ROC case was not yet transferred to his jurisdiction and my ROC was already pass the processing time. My ROC was under LIN and I filed on April 28, 2021. I called the congressman just to talk to a real person after being answered by an AI when I tried to call LIN about the inquiry I submitted.
