Is there a list of which offices offer same day oath, and what the cutoff times are? I’ve been scheduled for interview finally at Charlotte on June 8, at 1.40pm. Trying to organize it around international travel, the permutations are bananas 😅

The Charlotte office does same day oath ceremonies.  I know because I did my interview there, had a midday interview, and was able to take the oath that same afternoon.  This was in September 2021 so I'm not sure if anything has changed since then.  Charlotte's USCIS is one of the best in the country: a well-oiled and professional machine.

Good luck!

Thank you, Emily! Do you remember what time the oath ceremony was? My interview is 1.40pm, and my wife’s is 2.20pm, so wondering if that’s too late for the afternoon ceremony. Thanks so much for your insight!

From memory, and I hate that I can't recall accurately (I'm getting old), it was around 2-2:30.  I know I was one of the ones waiting the longest after my midday interview, and that they continued to add people to the oath ceremony right up until the time it started.

I hope both you and the Mrs can get it done in the same day.  It's an emotional and beautiful moment when you take the oath.  I was blubbering like a fool.
